Valentines Day Event

  • A small little event that will run from February the 10th up until February the 23rd;
  • While gaining EXP you'll occasionally receive Valentine's Hearts. You'll also receive them for every Squeal of Fortune spin;
  • These hearts may be exchanged with Wizard Deedit at the Home Area for various different items;
  • I've added a bunch of new cosmetics, pets and even level change-able equipment pieces this year, so make sure to check them out;

Archaeology

  • Added the Digsite's name to each of the Mysteries to the Archaeology Journal Mysteries tracker GUI;
  • The 'Sift Soil' spell can no longer be spam clicked to gain massive amounts of Magic EXP;
  • Soil Screening now uses the RS3 formula to calculate whether we should receive a material this iteration;

Invention

  • Added a new device: Fishing Accumulator - an upgraded Decorated Fishing urn, only fills up when failing to catch a fish;
  • Added the lab coat top and lab coat legs. These can be made at an Inventor's Workbench, and are purely cosmetic;
  • Added component crates which can be made at an Inventor's Workbench. These can store up to 100/1000 of a single component, and can be used to trade them to other players;
  • Added full NPC dialogue's to 'Grubfoot' and 'Mind Controlled Monkey butler' in the Invention Guild;
  • Added full NPC dialogue to Drorkar who's located in the West Keldagrim. You can pay Drorkar 5m coins to unlock the Dwarven Tech tree blueprints;
  • Added full NPC dialogue to Oldak who's located in North-West Dorgesh-Kaan. You can pay Oldak 5m coins to unlock the Cave Goblin Tech tree blueprints;
  • Once you've unlocked either (or both) of the Tech trees you can then go ahead and discover all of the related blueprints at any Inventor's workbench;

Goblin Tech tree blueprints and unlocks:

  • Pestiferous Components: able to use these components in gizmo shells;
  • Mechanised Chinchompa: created at any Inventor's workbench, an upgraded version of the carnivorous (red) chinchompas;
  • Woodcutting accumulator: an upgraded version of Decorated Woodcutting urns, only fills up when failing to cut a log;
  • B.A.N.K. stander: a device that charges up when standing near any bank. Once full it explodes into various Invention components;
  • Monkey mind-control helmet: a device that allows the player to hire the Monkey Butler, Steve, at the Invention Guild;
  • Dungeoneering Party Simulator: a device that increases Dungeoneering EXP from Daemonheim floors when in a party of 4 or less players;
  • Electrified Trap: a device that replaces the standard box trap and has a 100% catch success rate, with a durability of 50 charges;
  • Oldak Coil: a magic variant of the Dwarf Multi-cannon;

Dwarven Tech tree blueprints and unlocks:

  • Corporeal Components: able to use these components in gizmo shells;
  • Sprinkler MK1: a device that can be 'planted' in any flower patch to automatically water all nearby allotments. A spade can be used on the device to pick it back up;
  • Mining accumulator: an upgraded version of Decorated Mining urns, only fills up when Critical Strikes occur;
  • Book Switcher: a device that lets the player change their spellbooks or prayer books on the fly;
  • Calorie Bomb: a device that can be filled up with 5x of a chosen fish to charge it, and then thrown onto a tile for it to explode into a boosted AoE heal;
  • Auto-sanctifier: a device that increases bone burying and ash scattering Prayer EXP by x3.5 (same as fully lit gilded altar). This also works with the bonecrusher and attuned ectoplasmator;
  • Dungeoneering Lock Melter: a stack-able device that allows any non-key doors to be opened immediately;
  • Kinetic Cyclone: a melee variant of the Dwarf Multi-cannon;

Miscellaneous

  • Our 'Velheim' Discord BOT will now send and read messages to and from the Help Friends Chat and the 'Velheim Chat' text channel on Discord;
  • As part of the Invention expansion and introduction of new cannon types - you may now occasionally receive cannon upgrade kits for all types from Nodon NPC's in Senntisten;
  • Added the Ape Atoll Dungeon skeletal Monkeys. They'll spawn dupes on bone piles that have not been picked up, but will de-spawn after about a minute if not killed. These monkeys have no other drops, but provide a good AoE training area. Also added this location as a possible 'Monsters' destination to the Teleportation Menu;
  • (FSW) The items you're selling in your Marketplace will now get checked for usage in the global 'player.hasItem' method;
  • Added a message for when logged in for 6 hours or more reminding the player to take a break from their screen;
  • The Lodestone Network interface now supports Keyboard Shortcuts for all destinations. The key combinations are all same as on RS3, except the ALT key is replaced with the CTRL key;

Fixes

  • Added back all of the missing Dungeoneering armour models;
  • The global 'closeProtectionPrayers' method will now correctly only turn off protection prayers and deflection curses (and not Soulsplit or Wrath);
  • Updated the Pyramid Plunder interface to now visually tick down and handle values correctly, as well as added the minimap blackout when entering the area;
  • The pulley lift in Living Rock Caverns will now function as a fully fledged deposit box (can now use items on it, such as ore boxes, etc.);
  • The global itemCombinations prompt should now once again function correctly.
