The holiday season has arrived once more, and Velheim is lighting up with festive spirit. From Santa’s misadventures to world-wide collaboration on the Giant Christmas Cracker, this year’s celebration brings community challenges and daily gifts.
For players who've already completed the 2009 Christmas Quest last year - you will not have to do it again!
The Event will run until 8th of January, 2026.A massive cracker stands proudly at home, growing larger as the community contributes Wrapping Paper. Every player can take part — and every contribution matters.
As the cracker fills, it transforms through several visual stages, eventually becoming fully wrapped and ready to burst open with rewards. Once it’s complete, players who have contributed enough during that cycle can claim an exclusive Christmas Cracker Crate, filled with rewards ranging from useful supplies to festive treasures and rare event items. The rare item section includes goodies such as colored Santa Hats and X-mas Scythes!
Afterward, the cracker resets, and a brand-new cycle begins. Work together and keep adding paper!
Santa isn’t having the smoothest December. Mischievous goblins are up to their old tricks again, and every few hours they attempt another kidnapping.
It begins with a commotion at home, followed by Santa being dragged off and imprisoned somewhere near a random lodestone. A world message will clue you in to the general location — then the hunt begins.
Throughout December, players who have completed the Christmas Quest can occasionally discover Wrapping Paper while training and adventuring. It goes straight into your currency pouch - a small but welcome surprise that adds up as you play.

Festive rewards await in the seasonal shop, offering a wide collection of holiday cosmetics, overrides, pets, toys, and themed equipment. Everything is purchased directly with Wrapping Paper, making it easy to work toward your favourites throughout the month.
Many rewards unlock permanently, making this an excellent chance to expand your wardrobe of winter-themed cosmetics.
A classic tradition returns: the daily Advent Calendar.
Every day from the 1st to the 24th, players can open a box containing a unique reward — ranging from festive items to valuable supplies and even special token items on some days.
Opening a box on its actual date grants bonus spins and progress toward an exclusive cosmetic set. Missed a day? No worries, you can always open previous days as long as the calendar is still active.
