‼️Cache changes will only be available on the next server restart!‼️

Client/Cache

  • Interact Highlight plugin
    • Now has support for DirectX renderer not just OpenGL;
    • Each hover-able entity now has its own sub-section with colors, fonts, and additional settings;
  • UI Rescale plugin
    • While on OpenGL render, this plugin can now be used to upscale all interfaces/text/sprites from 100% to 400%;
    • This works both for both display modes: Fixed and Resizeable;
    • Sadly I cannot introduce this for DirectX at this time as it requires different pipeline modifications;
  • GPU plugin
    • Moved the 'map reload' request which increases rendering distance and pushes the Fog of War further - back to the main Client thread. This fixes a few weird crash scenarios when quickly toggling it on and off, or changing setting values;
    • The Fog of War will ALWAYS be present even if 'Fog Depth' is pushed back. This creates a nice atmospheric effect in the distance;
    • Upper floors will no longer weirdly render in the distance when the GPU plugin's 'Draw Distance' is increased to higher values with the Roofs graphic setting disabled;
    • The game should feel more smoother with high rendering distances. Far off scenery and objects have had their lights, shadows, animations and particles disabled/culled. Distance the cut-off starts can be configured;
  • Menu Entry Swapper plugin
    • A new plugin has been added which reorders the default-left-click action;
    • This plugin is really simple to use, players can just type in "ObjectName -> DefaultOption", ie. "Diango -> Talk-to" and it will retroactively swap the menu entry;
    • I've also added an 'Auto-learning' function which will automatically add menu swaps to the entry menu after a certain amount of clicks. This can be configured in the plugin's settings;
  • Mouse Configuration plugin
    • Added a simple new plugin that basically does two things;
    • Adjusts the speed at which camera moves when moving it via holding middle-mouse-button;
    • Adjusts the speed at which the camera zooms in and out when using the mouse wheel;
  • Fixed A LOT of DirectX AND OpenGL renderer memory leaks that were caused by unreleased textures, arrays, pointers and buffers. The client should now use A LOT less more memory overtime while playing on these renderers. Of course, this does not mean I patched everything, there are still tons of old code and leaks across;
  • The 'displayfps' command hook will now display more detail data about the currently loaded data, as well as the fixed DirectX off-heap memory usage. This should help us better track down if any more leaks occur;
  • The World Map should now be much more memory friendly, better releasing all its loaded data between opens;
  • (Cache) Whenever a currency goes into the player's Currency Pouch, a lime green pop-up will fade in and out stating how many and what currency was added;
  • Fixed incorrectly off-set L-shaped walls that were floating in some regions;
  • (Cache)   The Grand Exchange is now back to its original form, the '300m accounts registered RS event' has long passed;
  • Switching Display Renderer modes (Software/OpenGL/DirectX) should now clean up memory after itself much, much more better;
  • Shift-dropping items is now much more smoother, the client handles it all now;
  • Fixed Ping/ICMP services. The client now correctly displays your connection time to the server (ping) when 'displayfps' is turned on, and switches from the 'lobby' to 'world' lines retroactively. This also fixes the lobby world list pings.
