1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for your account, password, device security, and any activity under your account. Do not share accounts, sell accounts, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before using paid features or making purchases.

2. Service Access

Velheim is provided as an online private-server community and website service. Access may change, be interrupted, be limited, or be discontinued at any time for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, payment issues, or project changes.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access when we believe conduct violates these terms, server rules, applicable law, payment processor rules, or the safety of the community.

3. Downloads and Third-Party Software

Client downloads and launcher links are provided for accessing Velheim services. You are responsible for maintaining a safe device, compatible Java/runtime software, and following any applicable terms for third-party software used on your machine.

Do not redistribute, modify, sell, mirror, or abuse downloads, launchers, or site assets unless Velheim has explicitly allowed it.

4. Store, Payments, and Virtual Goods

Store purchases are for digital, in-game items, ranks, benefits, or account-related services. These benefits are virtual, have no real-world cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money.

Automated payments may be handled by Stripe or PayPal. Manual methods, including bunq or direct arrangements with Sandstorm, require direct confirmation before items can be granted. Payment card numbers and bank credentials are handled by the payment provider, not stored by Velheim.

Fraudulent payments, chargebacks, disputed payments, unauthorized payments, or payment processor reversals may result in removal of purchased benefits, account restrictions, or bans.

5. Game Rules and Community Conduct

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, abuse automation, attack the service, harass players or staff, evade punishments, use stolen payment methods, or interfere with other users. Staff decisions may consider logs, payment records, game records, and community reports.

Community content such as names, chat messages, media, screenshots, videos, and event participation may appear in public pages, rankings, promotional media, moderation tools, or logs where relevant to the service.

6. Content and Ownership

Velheim site design, code, text, graphics, page layouts, custom tools, databases, and related assets are protected by their respective rights. Third-party names, trademarks, and assets remain the property of their owners.

When you submit content to the website, game, Discord, or support channels, you allow Velheim to use that content as needed to operate, moderate, improve, document, and promote the service.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free gameplay, permanent data retention, permanent item availability, or compatibility with every device or browser.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velheim is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential losses resulting from website use, gameplay, payment issues, data loss, outages, third-party services, or account actions.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the website, store, payment methods, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version is effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
